1985年神奈川県生まれ。東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科建築専攻修了。生活をしながら身のまわりの物をぬいぐるみにする。

【ステートメント】
週末に食料品と調味料を買い、作り置きをする。平日はそれを食べ、サプリメントを飲む。週末にはまた買い物をし、鉢植えに水をやる。繰り返しの中で触れる物を、ぬいぐるみとして定着させる。
【Artist Profile】
Yusuke Saito
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1985. Completed a master's degree in Architecture at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Saito creates stuffed sculptures based on everyday objects encountered in daily life.

【Artist Statement】
On weekends, I buy groceries and seasonings and prepare meals in advance. During the week, I eat those meals and take supplements. When the weekend comes, I go shopping again and water my potted plants. I turn the objects I encounter through these repeated routines into stuffed sculptures, giving them a lasting form.
